Ron Amit
Ron Amit, born in Israel and began his professional career in 2003 when he joined the Batsheva Ensemble. While in Batsheva, Ron performed works by Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Arkady Zaides and more. Ron collaborated with Daniel Landaualso and was a part of Matanicola, a Berlin based collaborative project. He received the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship from 2003-2004 and from 2004-2006 he served as an Outstanding Dancer in the IDF.
Ron’s choreographic work has been performed in the US, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, India and Israel. He collaborated with Mor Shani on a duet titled Lu Carmela for the Shades of Dance Festival in Israel. The duet won several awards including Best Choreography in the SoloDuo international dance competition in Hungary and ACT Festival in Spain. Lu Carmela was also nominated for the Swan award for Best Production at National Holland Awards in 2010. His choreography for the theater show Postal Delivery to God was nominated for the Golden Hedgehog 2013 in Israel.
Ron has been a certified Gaga Movement Language teacher since 2004. He was the first certified teachers to bring Gaga to the US and has been teaching Gaga around the world for several years. He helped start the Gaga Movement Language program at Peridance Capezio Center in NYC and was a guest teacher at the Juilliard School in 2010. Ron was also part of the dance program of ArtEZ academy and Fontys Dance academy in the Netherlands, and Remschied Academy in Germany.
Ron was a co-founded and director of a non-profit called Zuzu - Balance in Motion in Israel. The organization used dance and the process of creating a performance as a healing experience for people with disabilities. Those projects performed in Switzerland and Israel. Ron is Co-Founder and and Co-Director of Transformøtion with his partner Michael. Together they facilitate transformational dance workshops and classes for all people.

Michael Garber
Michael Garber, born in Waynesburg, PA, received his early dance training at his family’s dance studio in Morgantown, WV. His early dance training included Jazz, Lyrical, Gymnastics, Ballet, Acrobatics, Hip-Hop, Tap, and Modern Dance.
After graduating from High School, Michael worked for Holland America Cruise Lines as a dancer. Michael moved to New York City to study at Broadway Dance Center in the Intern Afilliate Program where he studied Jazz, Hip-Hop, Theater Dance, Ballet, and Contemporary Dance with teachers such as Frank Hatchett, Sheila Barker, Brice Mousset, Wes Veldink, Kat Wildish and more.
He was a member of the Steps Repertory Ensemble for two years where he trained under Jana Hicks, Max Stone, Marijke Eliasburg, Julie Bour, and various other teachers. While on the Ensemble he learned and performed the repertoire of Sean Curran, Nathan Trice, Louis Falco, Andrea Miller, and more. He was a member of NY2Dance, performing “Wall Stories” in NYC, Washington DC, and Mexico City.
Michael studied Modern Dance at the University of Utah. During his time there he studied Dance Kinesiology, Dance History, Dance and Interactive Technology and Media, Improvisation, Composition, and Modern Dance Technique. He received various awards and scholarships for his dedication to Arts and Modern Dance. He was a member of the Performing Dance Company and performed the works of Pamela Handman-Geber, Shaun Boyle, and guest choreographer Andrea Miller. While in Utah, he was awarded Artist in Residence at SugarSpace where he choreographed a new work called “One”.
Michael was an adjunct professor for West Virginia Wesleyan’s Theater and Dance Department. He has been a guest choreographer/instructor for West Virginia Wesleyan, West Virginia University, and ArtEZ(Netherlands), and STEG Performing Arts High School(Sweden). Michael was Artistic Director/Owner of Inner Rhythm Dance Studio for 2 years. The studio provided dance education, performances, yoga, and community activities.
Michael is a certified yoga instructor and Reiki healing Master. He is a student of life and commits himself to finding sacredness and healing in his daily life. He is the Co-Director of Transformotion with his husband and partner, Ron Amit. Together they provide educational classes and workshops on personal development, community engagement, and holistic health.
